Anchored in a turquoise cove, most guests want one thing: to get into that water in the most fun way possible. The two stars are the Seabob and the eFoil. Both are electric, quiet and unforgettable — but very different.

Seabob: fly underwater

A Seabob is a sleek electric water scooter. You hold the handles, lie flat and it pulls you along the surface — or, with a tilt of the nose, dives under the water with you like a dolphin. Our Seabob model reaches around 20 km/h on the surface, with several power levels for beginners and experienced riders.

• Feels like: snorkelling with a jet engine.
• Learning curve: minutes. Start on the lowest power level.
• Best for: confident swimmers, teens and adults, anyone who loves snorkelling.
• Price: €300 per day, delivered to your yacht.

eFoil: surf above the water

An eFoil is a surfboard with an electric motor and a hydrofoil wing underneath. Once you pick up speed, the board lifts out of the water and you glide silently above the surface.

• Feels like: flying — once you get it.
• Learning curve: most people need a few attempts, starting on their knees before standing up.
• Best for: sporty guests, surfers, snowboarders, anyone who likes a challenge.
• Price: €450 per day.

Which one should you choose?

For groups: one Seabob keeps everyone busy in turns; add an eFoil if you have a few sporty riders.
