2. Visiting this website

When you open our pages, your browser sends technical data to the server: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser type and operating system. These server logs are needed to run and secure the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in stable and secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are deleted after 14 days at the latest.

Hosting: the website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany, under a data processing agreement.

Security: we use Wordfence to protect the site; it analyses requests and blocks suspicious IP addresses.

3. Booking requests

When you send a request through the form on a yacht page, we process: your name, contact details (phone, WhatsApp or email), preferred date, duration, number of guests, selected extras and your message. We use this to answer your request and to prepare and perform the charter agreement. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps and performance of a contract).

Requests are stored in our WordPress system and also sent to us by email. If no contract results, we delete the request after 12 months. Once you book, statutory tax retention periods apply.

To organise confirmed bookings we enter the date, name and contact in an internal Google Calendar (Google Ireland Limited). That calendar is not public; the website only reads which days a boat is taken, without names or details.

4. Payments

No payment data is collected on this website. After we confirm your booking you receive either our bank details or a payment link from our payment provider. Card details are entered there, directly with that provider; we never see them.

5. Contact by WhatsApp, email or phone

Our pages contain WhatsApp buttons. Clicking one opens WhatsApp; your message and phone number are then processed by WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Meta) under their privacy terms. If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details to deal with your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

6. Statistics: Google Analytics via Site Kit

We use Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, embedded through the Google Site Kit plugin, to see which pages are visited and where visitors come from. Cookies are set and data — including a shortened IP address — is transferred to Google, also in the USA. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future. You can also block tracking with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

7. Cookies

Technically necessary cookies store, for example, your language choice (Polylang). They are required to run the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Statistics cookies are only set with your consent. You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time.

8. Who receives your data

Only we and the service providers who support us technically have access: our host, our email provider, Google (calendar and statistics) and, if you contact us that way, WhatsApp. To run the charter we pass your name and booking details to the captain on duty and, where necessary, to the marina operator. We never pass data on for advertising purposes.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time. A short message to contact@drive-mallorca.com is enough.

You may also complain to a supervisory authority — in Spain the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, www.aepd.es.

10. Changes

We update this policy when our website or the legal situation changes. The version published here always applies.
